This classic 6-day Kashmir holiday covers the valley's four highlights: Srinagar's lakes and gardens, the meadows of Gulmarg, the river valleys of Pahalgam and the glaciers of Sonamarg.

It works beautifully for families, couples and first-time visitors. Hotels, houseboat category and vehicle type are all customised to your preferences.

Day-by-Day Itinerary

  1. Arrive in Srinagar — Shikara ride

    Meet our driver at Srinagar airport and transfer to your houseboat. In the evening, enjoy a relaxed shikara ride on Dal Lake. Overnight on houseboat.

  2. Srinagar to Gulmarg

    Drive to Gulmarg (approx. 2 hours). Spend the day in the meadows and take the Gondola ride (tickets extra, subject to weather). Return to Srinagar or stay overnight in Gulmarg.

  3. Srinagar to Pahalgam

    Drive to Pahalgam through saffron fields and apple orchards. Afternoon at leisure by the Lidder river. Overnight in Pahalgam.

  4. Pahalgam sightseeing

    Visit Betaab Valley, Aru Valley and Chandanwari (local union taxi required as per local rules). Return to Srinagar in the evening.

  5. Day trip to Sonamarg

    Full-day excursion to Sonamarg — the meadow of gold. Optional pony ride to Thajiwas Glacier. Return to Srinagar.

  6. Mughal Gardens & departure

    Visit Nishat and Shalimar Bagh (time permitting) and transfer to Srinagar airport for your onward journey.

Can we stay in Gulmarg instead of returning to Srinagar?

Yes. Many guests prefer an overnight stay in Gulmarg — we will adjust the itinerary and hotels accordingly.

Is the Gondola included?

Gondola tickets are not included by default because they are booked in advance subject to availability and weather. We can guide you or add them to your quotation.
