Day-by-Day Itinerary

  1. Arrive in Haridwar

    Check in and attend the evening Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri.

  2. Haridwar to Barkot

    Drive via Mussoorie to Barkot.

  3. Yamunotri darshan

    Drive to Janki Chatti and trek (approx. 6 km each way, ponies/palki available) to Yamunotri. Return to Barkot.

  4. Barkot to Uttarkashi

    Drive to Uttarkashi and visit Kashi Vishwanath temple.

  5. Gangotri darshan

    Day trip to Gangotri temple and return to Uttarkashi.

  6. Uttarkashi to Guptkashi

    Long scenic drive to Guptkashi / Sitapur.

  7. Kedarnath trek / helicopter

    Drive to Sonprayag, then Gaurikund and trek (approx. 16–18 km) or helicopter (if booked) to Kedarnath. Overnight near Kedarnath.

  8. Kedarnath darshan & return

    Morning darshan and return trek to Gaurikund. Drive to Guptkashi.

  9. Guptkashi to Badrinath

    Drive via Joshimath to Badrinath. Evening darshan.

  10. Badrinath & Mana village

    Morning darshan, visit Mana village, then drive to Rudraprayag / Srinagar (Garhwal).

  11. To Haridwar / Rishikesh

    Drive back via Devprayag. Optional stop in Rishikesh.

  12. Departure

    Drop at Haridwar railway station or onward to your city.

  • Yatra registration with the Uttarakhand government is mandatory for all pilgrims.
  • A medical check-up is strongly recommended before the Yatra, especially for senior citizens.
  • Temple opening and closing dates are announced by the temple committees every year.
  • Hotel check-in is usually from 12:00–14:00 and check-out by 10:00–11:00.
  • Sightseeing is subject to weather, road conditions and local administration rules.
  • Itineraries can be adjusted on the day for safety or road closures.

  • Government-issued photo ID is required for all travellers at hotel check-in.

Can we do only Do Dham (Kedarnath & Badrinath)?

Yes — a Do Dham Yatra of about 5–6 nights is also available.
